The Field Service Engineer is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, maintenance, and repair of Radiometer instrument. Enable achievement of RPAC Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) through delivering excellence in Services activities.

This position reports to the Service Manager and is part of the RPAC Field Service Team located in Lane Cove West, New South Wales and will be a remote role. 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Prove your technical ability to troubleshoot and repair complex instrumentation
  • Execute all service processes in line with the RPAC quality manual
  • Assist the RPAC service team in maintaining any relevant KPIs

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Equivalent of 2 years in industry experience in service, technical support or plant maintenance
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical, or related discipline) or equivalent hands-on industry experience
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

  • Ability and willingness to travel 20% within NSW or nationally if required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience with diagnostic or laboratory equipment, particularly blood gas analyzers
  • Basic IT/networking knowledge, including integration of medical devices into hospital/LIS systems and troubleshooting connectivity issues
