- Visually/Physically inspect doors for defects
- Perform minor repairs
- Verify codes on production tickets and match codes on doors
- Determine what doors need to be repaired or rejected
- Package doors for shipping
- Accurate completion of paperwork
- Follow safety and process procedures
- Load and Unload trucks
- Put away doors into correct locations
- Process appropriate paperwork
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to use/operate hand tools; nail gun, handsaw, panel saw
- Ability to read production work orders, tickets, and door code information
- Ability to quickly learn defects, allowable tolerance, and door repair procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well with a partner/co-worker
- Must be attentive to detail
- Fast-paced work environment
Physical Requirements:
- Lift 1-30# frequently (up to 50% of assigned shift)
- Lift 30-60# regularly (up to 30% of assigned shift)
- Lift 60+# occasionally (up to 25% of assigned shift)
- Push/Pull 100# with assistance seldom (up to 13% of assigned shift)
- Kneel occasionally (up to 25% of assigned shift)
- Squat occasionally (up to 25% of assigned shift)
- Stoop frequently (up to 25% of assigned shift)
- Work with extended arms
- Stand in one spot for long periods
- Able to drive forklift (up to 50% of assigned shift)
Education & Experience:
- A High School Diploma or GED certificate
- One year of prior manufacturing/shipping experience
- Forklift certification preferred
