Role Overview
The Finance Integration Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for managing a seamless merger of financial systems, processes, and teams during acquisitions. You will act as the bridge between eBay acquired entities and eBay partners, ensuring that the integration preserves financial integrity while driving global operational efficiencies.
What You Will Accomplish
  • Integration Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute detailed integration playbooks, managing everything from the initial GL cutover to the final alignment of financial reporting.
  • Process & Policy Harmonization: Standardize disparate accounting policies, internal controls, and the Chart of Accounts (COA) to ensure unified global reporting.
  • System Integration: Lead the migration of financial data from legacy systems to the Parent’s ERP environment, ensuring data accuracy and minimal disruption to the month-end close.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with Controllers, IT, GSS, and other finance functions.
  • Synergy Tracking: Identify, track, and report on integration progress and milestones.
  • Change Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for the acquired entity team, helping them navigate new systems and processes while maintaining their existing control environment.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience in finance or accounting with a focus on integration, consolidation, or ERP implementations, preferably in a complex or global environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, including GL, financial reporting, internal controls, and Chart of Accounts design, with the ability to translate these into practical integration plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, collaborating effectively with Controllers, IT, shared services, and acquired entity teams.
  • Solid project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize competing deadlines, and communicate progress to senior partners.
  • Comfort working with financial systems and data migration activities; experience with large-scale ERP environments is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work across time zones with global teams, with occasional travel as needed to support key integration phases and relationship-building.
