Job Purpose:
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Contract Logistics commercial strategy at regional/national level.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within target industries.
- Lead tender processes (RFPs/RFQs), including solution design, pricing, and client negotiations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (operations, engineering, finance, IT) to build competitive value propositions.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key clients and relevant stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to anticipate opportunities.
- Ensure achievement of commercial targets: revenue, margin, pipeline, and conversion rate.
- Oversee the successful transition (handover) of new business into operations.
- Drive innovation in logistics solutions (automation, digitalization, e-commerce, etc.).
- Manage and develop the business development / consultative sales team.
- Prepare executive reports and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
Who we are looking for:
- +5 years of experience in contract logistics, supply chain, or 3PL environments.
- Desirable experience in eCommerce, Aerospace, Automotive and/or Chinese Markets
- Minimum of 5 years in leadership roles within Business Development, Sales, or Operations.
- Experience managing key accounts and closing high-value projects.
- End-to-end logistics solution design.
- Pricing, financial modeling, and business case development.
- B2B commercial processes (tenders, complex negotiations).
- Knowledge of automation, WMS, TMS, and logistics technologies (preferred).
- Advanced English.
- Strategic leadership and strong business acumen.
- High-level negotiation and influencing skills.
- Results-driven with strong customer orientation.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and executive presentation skills.
- Teamwork and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
