Job Description:
The Customs Agent is responsible for preparing import and export declarations, as well as the necessary clearance paperwork to be submitted to customs authorities for the release of customer shipments.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Ensures all export and imports procedures are consistently administered.
- Examines invoices and shipping documents to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Communicate with customers for documentation for the clearance process
- Ensure compliance in local authorities
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:
- Fluent in Greek and English
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Planning and organizing abilities.
- Strong analytical and performance management skills
- Good knowledge of global air express and/or the freight forwarding business will be considered as an additional advantage.
