Job Description
Training:
- Prior participation in a quality assurance training program and a working knowledge of quality management principles preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and similar diagrams, and experience using a variety of precision measuring instruments.
- Background in heavy equipment, farm equipment or mechanics preferred.
- Computer proficiency.
- Strong analytical and technical skills and a sense of independence necessary to accurately perform and report on quality inspections
- Strong interpersonal skills to interface with other departments and vendors in resolving quality problems.
- Ability to work independently, with little direct supervision.
This position will pay within the range $28.13 -$32.82 per hour, based on experience. This position is eligible for gainsharing.
