
Project Lead Reliability Maintenance

1. Role Purpose
- Lead end-to-end Reliability Engineering by developing optimized maintenance strategies and driving preventive maintenance (PM) re-engineering
- Lead projects to enhance asset reliability and operational efficiency through data-driven continuous improvement, aligned with industry standards for sustainable and cost-effective performance
2. Core Functional Competencies
- Develop and execute Reliability Engineering methodologies, RCM & FMECA to enhance asset performance across onshore and offshore facilities.
- Develop and implement reliability driven maintenance strategies while analysing asset performance data to identify and mitigate recurring low-impact failures, improving overall reliability
- Drive digital maintenance adoption through CMMS optimization and enable data-driven decision-making to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Conduct risk-based criticality assessment and SCE identification to ensure asset integrity & safety.
- Identify opportunities to improve system reliability and minimize downtime through proactive and optimized maintenance strategies
- Collaborate with reliability engineers and consultants to support and enhance value-added preventive maintenance (PM) activities
- Identify and manage critical spares, maintain an updated critical spares register, and ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained across locations to support asset reliability and minimize downtime
- Provide expert guidance on FMECA and PM optimization, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Optimize asset reliability by improving MTBF and MTTR for critical equipment while leveraging Asset Criticality Analysis to prioritize maintenance efforts.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in reliability studies for critical assets, driving maintenance program optimization for both onshore and offshore equipment to enhance performance and asset integrity
- Provide technical guidance and support to client production teams, maintenance management, and site personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
- Collaborate with the project management team to support planning and scheduling.

Work Experience
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Reliability, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering within the manufacturing sector (preferably Oil & Gas, Chemicals, or Energy).
- Proven experience in executing 8+ end-to-end project cycles for RCM, Criticality Assessment, and PM optimization strategies.

- Proven track record in delivering maintenance improvement initiatives, with demonstrated experience in leading and managing a diverse portfolio of projects while effectively collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong understanding of core maintenance engineering principles, along with fundamental knowledge of cross-disciplinary engineering requirements
- Excellent communication skills and expertise in facilitating technical workshops, with the ability to effectively engage cross-functional teams
- Demonstrate advanced analytical reasoning and proficiency in data analytics techniques to support robust, evidence-based decision-making
- Demonstrate proven leadership competency with the ability to influence stakeholders, drive strategic initiatives, and achieve targeted outcomes.
- Effective Decision - Apply a structured decision-making approach by prioritizing initiatives and aligning actions with available resources, constraints, and objectives.
