Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collect, validate, and organize process operating data from refinery and petrochemical units.
- Analyze key process inputs including pressure, temperature, flow, composition, AIT, flash point, H₂S and ammonia concentration, and other safety-critical parameters.
- Support corrosion rate estimation and material degradation assessments for equipment, piping, and pipelines.
- Work closely with process, materials, and reliability engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and clarity.
- Understand technical summaries, data sheets, and engineering documentation as per workflow requirements.
- Review deliverables of young engineers.
- Participate in review meetings and provide support to clients.
Work Experience
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- Strong understanding of refinery and petrochemical unit operations.
- Analyze key process inputs including pressure, temperature, flow, composition, AIT, flash point, H₂S and ammonia concentration, and other safety-critical parameters.
- Support corrosion rate estimation and material degradation assessments for equipment, piping, and pipelines.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, PFDs, datasheets, and equipment design documents.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to handle and analyze large datasets.
- Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and strong data discipline.
- Team-oriented with good coordination skills.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision while delivering high-quality output.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of work experience in any manufacturing facility (Continuous process) - Refinery/ Petrochemicals/ Fertilizers/ Chemicals background is preferred.
