Role Title: Maintenance & Reliability Engineer

1. Role Purpose
- Drive Risk-Based Maintenance (RBM) programs to strengthen asset reliability and optimize operational performance through continuous, data-driven improvements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices for sustainable and cost-efficient operations
- Serve as the Technical Lead for driving maintenance re-engineering, reliability improvement initiative & PM Optimization.
2. Core Functional Competencies
Demonstrated capabilities:
- Develop and execute Reliability Engineering methodologies, RCM & FMECA to enhance asset performance across onshore and offshore facilities.
- Conduct risk-based criticality assessment and SCE identification to ensure asset integrity & safety.
- Collaborate with reliability engineers and consultants to support and enhance value-added preventive maintenance (PM) activities
- Skilled in qualitative Reliability tools and techniques such as Root Cause Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis and Reliability Centred Maintenance facilitation.
- Conduct RCM studies for critical assets & rotary equipment’s and drive maintenance program optimization.
- Design and implement engineering solutions to address recurring failures and other issues that negatively impact plant operations, including those affecting capacity, quality, cost, and regulatory compliance
- Apply reliability engineering methodologies including lifecycle asset management, risk management, criticality assessment, bad actor identification, and single point failure analysis to enhance asset performance.
- Develop and implement a maintenance strategy aimed at improving reliability (maximizing MTTF) and enhancing efficiency (minimizing MTTR), and ensure effective execution of these maintenance plans at the plant level
- Prepare, review, and standardize maintenance strategies for rotating equipment, ensuring compliance with OEM guidelines, reliability engineering principles.
- Proficient in advancing digital maintenance initiatives through CMMS optimization, enabling data-driven decision-making to improve operational efficiency and asset reliability

Work Experience
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 14 years of experience in Reliability, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering within the manufacturing sector (preferably Oil & Gas, Chemicals, or Energy).
- Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering 5+ end-to-end project cycles involving Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM), criticality assessments, and preventive maintenance (PM) optimization strategies.

- Extensive technical expertise and practical experience in Maintenance Engineering within the Oil & Gas or analogous process industries, including demonstrated involvement in complex, multi-disciplinary projects and cross-functional teams, with specialized proficiency in rotating equipment systems
