UGL Major Projects is growing, and we’re seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead end‑to‑end Commissioning on major data centre construction projects in Melbourne.
You’ll own the commissioning strategy through to successful handover—bringing structure, discipline and leadership to ensure systems are safe, compliant and operationally ready.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead the T&C strategy, planning and delivery across multiple packages
- Review design and drive improvements to operational readiness and program outcomes
- Build clear scopes, align stakeholders, and keep testing on track
- Maintain high standards across QA, compliance and documentation
- Lead consultants/contractors to consistently achieve quality and milestone targets
What you’ll bring
- Relevant Electrical Engineering degree or strong M&E trade background
- Proven data centre commissioning experience
- 10+ years in a Commissioning Manager (or equivalent) role
- Strong commercial mindset, calm under pressure, and clear communicator
