Position Summary
The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for Alliance Healthcare Services. This position partners with leadership to attract, source, interview, and onboard qualified candidates who support the organization’s mission of providing quality behavioral health and community-based services. The Recruiter will develop recruitment strategies to fill clinical, administrative, and support positions while promoting a positive candidate experience and ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and organizational policies.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of recruitment or human resources experience required.
- Experience recruiting in healthcare, behavioral health, or community mental health settings preferred.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or related certification preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions, including posting vacancies, sourcing candidates, screening applications, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring activities.
- Develop and maintain recruitment pipelines for clinical and non-clinical positions, including therapists, case managers, nurses, peer support specialists, administrative staff, and leadership roles.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job postings, and establish recruitment timelines.
- Utilize various recruitment methods including job boards, social media, networking, career fairs, community partnerships, and employee referral programs.
- Coordinate and participate in recruitment events, college fairs, and community outreach initiatives to promote employment opportunities.
- Conduct reference checks, employment verifications, and background screening coordination.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and organizational hiring practices.
- Maintain applicant tracking systems and accurate recruitment records.
- Assist with onboarding activities including offer letters, new hire paperwork, orientation scheduling, and new employee communication.
- Track recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, turnover trends, and sourcing effectiveness.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and applicant information.
- Support special HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Working Conditions
- Primarily office-based environment with occasional travel to recruitment events, job fairs, and community partner locations.
- May require occasional evening or weekend hours to support recruitment activities.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use standard office equipment for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds occasionally.
