Functional Analyst – Record-to-Report (RTR)
Job Description
Accountabilities
• Own functional analysis and support for RTR processes within core finance systems.
• Ensure financial data accuracy, integrity, and compliance across RTR workflows.
• Collaborate with Finance and Technology teams to optimise RTR processes.
• Support system enhancements, testing, and documentation for RTR functionality.
• Strengthen internal controls and month-end close efficiency through system improvements.
Responsibilities
• Analyse, document, and translate RTR business requirements into system specifications.
• Support configuration, testing, and deployment of RTR features in ERP and consolidation systems.
• Assist Finance with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting validations.
• Troubleshoot RTR-related issues in journals, GL postings, subledgers, and financial reporting.
• Validate data flow between ERP, EPM, and other finance-dependent platforms.
• Participate in UAT planning, test execution, and defect resolution.
• Work with Technical Analysts to support integration touchpoints.
• Identify opportunities for RTR process automation and efficiency improvements.
• Maintain functional documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
• Support audit, compliance, and internal control requirements related to RTR.

Ideal Track Record
• 3–7 years of experience in RTR, finance operations, or ERP functional roles.
• Strong understanding of general ledger, financial reporting, fixed assets, and reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience with ERP platforms (SAP/Oracle/Workday) in RTR or GL modules.
• Experience supporting financial close cycles and process optimisation.
• Proven ability to translate finance needs into system requirements and enhancements.
