Functional Test Engineer

Qualifications University degree in Electronics Engineering, Information Engineering, or a related field Basic knowledge of automotive electronic systems, including ECUs and communication bus systems (e.g., CAN, LIN) Strong analytical thinking with a structured and methodical approach to problem-solving High level of reliability, accountability, and attention to detail Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate within teams and manage conflicts constructively Resilient and assertive, with the ability to perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Team-oriented mindset combined with a positive, proactive attitude Responsibilities Define and implement test strategies and plans for Electronic Control Units (ECUs) Plan, execute, and monitor test activities, ensuring proper validation and integration of ECUs Select appropriate test methods, tools, and specifications, supporting the full process from definition to approval Analyze, document, and communicate test results to relevant stakeholders Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure alignment of interfaces and system requirements Support the optimization of testing processes and real-time Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems Contribute to the setup, validation, and upgrade of testing equipment (e.g., HIL systems) in collaboration with technical teams Support procurement of equipment and components required for software testing activities
