Compensation: £13.45 / hour
Description
Carlton House is located in Rothwell Haigh, near to Leeds. It offers residential support for 10 males, including males on the autism spectrum and males with a learning disability. Carlton Cottage, which is immediately adjacent, offers support for a further six males, and has an all-male staff team.
Our team are dedicated to working with each individual we support on a person-centred basis to create and achieve goals to meet their own expectations. We want to help each person we care for to have a healthy, happy and independent life, within a safe and welcoming home.

What you'll be doing
- Supervise and support the delivery of person-centred support and care
- Provide leadership during shifts, including handovers, role allocation, and effective communication.
- Ensure residents have person-centred plans in place and are supported to participate in meaningful activities.
- Deliver team supervisions and contribute to professional development.
- Administer medication safely and in line with procedures.
- Manage service users’ finances and contribute to budget management in accordance with policy.
- Complete and oversee accurate record-keeping, reporting, and compliance with legislation.
- Monitor and support team performance, addressing immediate operational issues as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date training and knowledge to ensure safe and effective practice.
What you'll bring to the role
- Previous experience as a Support Worker or Senior Support Worker is essential.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to supervise, coach, and motivate others
