Job Description

This role will drive the management of the bank’s liquidity in accordance with the liquidity management framework and regulatory compliance to ensure the cost of funding is maintained within reasonable range.
Given the level of the role, a natural ability to engage at senior management level is essential.

• Drive and embed group policy and philosophy around funding and liquidity management. 
• Delivery of funding strategy of the bank.
• Delivery of efficient and risk-appropriate funding structure of the bank 
• Coordination of funding and liquidity activities across the bank
• Provide advisory capacity and thought leadership in funding and liquidity management to Treasury and other management forums.
• Partner with business in the development of the deposit franchise through strong collaboration in liability product development and coordination
• Provision of critical analytics on various funding and liquidity metrics, identification of drivers, dislocations, trends, and risks and make recommendations on portfolio positioning and optimization opportunities. 
• Provide functional capacity into management forums.
• Lead efforts in jurisdictional upstream funding and liquidity issue management support. 
• Lead efforts in embedding best practice within the funding and liquidity functions of the bank and across the market. 
• Providing advisory capacity on human capital development in funding and liquidity structures 
• Manage relationships with group divisions on all the above activities within divisional management forums.
