Line Technician

Position: Line Technician Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems, following blueprints, manuals, and schematic diagrams. Perform scheduled maintenance inspections on various production lines and machines, ensuring that they are in good working condition and free of defects that may affect operations. Diagnose machine issues by using technical drawings, diagnostic tools, and a solid foundational understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Fix, replace or repair parts, as necessary, and providing detailed repair descriptions and documentation. Organize and schedule other line technicians for emergency maintenance interventions. Respond to emergency maintenance requests, and quickly troubleshoot and fix issues to minimize downtime. Collaborate with line operators to ensure the efficient operation of the production line. Observe safety protocols and report potential risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Train new employees on preventative maintenance procedures and standard equipment protocols. Stay current with the latest technologies and techniques by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.
