Summary: The essential duties are to perform routine and preventive maintenance and repair procedures on buildings, mechanical equipment and utility systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs of buildings & equipment as applicable and needed.
• Make recommendations for major repairs of building & equipment as applicable and needed.
• Ensures all soap and sanitizer dispensers are full and in working condition.
• Monitors and test emergency lights monthly and annually, schedule service, maintain logs. This also includes monitoring fire extinguishers monthly, schedule annual service and maintain logs.
• Ensure infection control requirements (janitorial care) are met.
• Ensure cleanliness of designated areas within facilities by performing basic custodial duties (cleaning, sweeping, mopping, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned
