ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS
- Standardize PCB component libraries, creating footprints in Altium software.
- Assist senior engineers with hands-on testing and troubleshooting using lab equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Develop and maintain Software Development Kits (SDKs) for electronic products.
- Create and update technical documentation, including product data sheets and Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
- Help maintain and update technical documentation and project logs.
- Capstone presentation at the conclusion of internship.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university program relevant to Electrical Engineering or other engineering disciplines.
- Strong interest in design and development and/or outdoor hunting and shooting industry.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Word, PowerPoint; familiarity with additional tools relevant to the department such as Altium is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Professional attitude with a high level of integrity and accountability
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Occasional bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and operating office machinery
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Primarily office-based with exposure potential exposure to outdoor conditions.
- Main hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm in office.
- Schedule may include evenings or weekends based on business needs
