Typical Schedule: Day, Weekend and Weekday availability needed

History
The Continental Country Club Clubhouse is the neighborhood centerpiece, designed for member camaraderie and family get-togethers. Expansive and comfortable, the 25,000 square-foot clubhouse features spectacular views of Mt. Elden and our world-class golf course while housing the Golf Shop, The Oakmont Restaurant, The Venue, and the Fitness Center.
Role Summary
The Onsite Seasonal Recreational Associate supports the planning, coordination, and execution of on-site programs and events for association members. This role helps create a welcoming, engaging environment by assisting with recreational, social, educational, and wellness activities while providing excellent member support.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, organizing, and facilitating on-site activities, programs, and events
- Set up and break down activity spaces, including equipment and materials
- Greet participants and provide information about activities and schedules
- Support instructors, facilitators, or activity leaders during programs
- Maintain activity supplies and report inventory needs
- Assist with event registration, sign-ins, and attendance tracking
- Ensure activities are conducted in a safe, inclusive, and respectful manner
- Communicate schedules, updates, and announcements to members
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of activity areas
- Provide general administrative support related to activities as needed

- High school diploma or equivalent GED required
- Previous experience in an administrative capacity required
- Previous Event Coordinator experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both internal and external customers
- Maintain reliable transportation
- Attend all mandatory company functions
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while providing outstanding customer service
- Capability to work independently and complete assignments within given instructions, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach frequently.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier with assistance.
- Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely.
- Visual acuity to inspect equipment, read gauges, and perform detailed tasks.
- Hearing ability to detect alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions in noisy environments.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise, outdoors).
- Ability to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, on-call, and overtime as required.
