Symetra has an exciting new opportunity to join us as a Physical Security Specialist!
About the role
In this role, you will maintain Symetra’s physical access security systems and develop and implement processes and procedures that support these systems while helping reduce physical risk to the organization. You will also provide administrative support to the Corporate Security department and serve as a key point of contact for employees and contractors across various Symetra sites.
What you will do
- Maintain and support employee card access, video surveillance, and visitor management systems to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Coordinate with IT security stakeholders and external vendors to troubleshoot issues and maintain system availability.
- Process and distribute building access cards and physical keys while maintaining accurate asset and access records.
- Generate and maintain card access system reports as needed.
- Train and audit vendors to ensure compliance with security processes and standards.
- Provide administrative support to Corporate Security, Human Resources, and Legal teams.
- Support safety and security program initiatives for both hybrid virtual and on-site employees, including communications and training efforts.
- Serve as a backup for physical security operations and perform additional safety and security responsibilities as assigned.

Compensation
Salary Range: $29.83 - $49.68 hourly plus eligibility for the company annual bonus program.
