Additive Manufacturing Technician

An Additive Manufacturing (AM) Technician at Fabrisonic is highly proficient in hands-on manufacturing skills, including CNC machining, and assists in the execution of ultrasonic additive manufacturing (UAM) projects. An AM Technician solves technical challenges, advises engineers on project execution, and may be assigned ownership over UAM projects. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in CAD/CAM, 3-axis machining, and other additive manufacturing & fabrication methods in the lab. An AM technician also assists in managing the employment, use, repair and maintenance of all UAM machines and other manufacturing and technical equipment.
