
Assistant Leader - Roving New York City Crews
Job Description
Position Summary
This program will be a roving field support positions. The member will have the opportunity to serve alongside 4 different NYC Urban Green Programs. The member will experience trail projects, urban forestry projects and invasive management projects. This is a program for an SCA alumni to further their experience with SCA.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Support Crew Leaders in projects and program management; Facilitate environmental education lessons and activities ; Maintain equipment cache and inventory of tools and equipment; Serve as a substitute leader in the absence of other field leaders; Support the completion of conservation stewardship projects
Marginal Duties
Rove all project sites and support as needed; Take photos and videos of crew members, leaders and projects
Required Qualifications
21+ Strong Leadership Skills Ability to adapt to changing tasks and responsibilities
Valid Drivers License
Hours
40 per week

Compensation
$900.00/week
All allowances are subject to applicable federal, state, and local taxes.
