Job Description
Role Purpose:
The role holder plays a key role in providing support and coordination in various outbound processes to ensure the accurate and timely shipment of products to customers.
- Assist in processing outbound orders, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to procedures.
- Work closely with the Outbound Supervisor to maintain organized records of outgoing shipments.
- Provide support in the packaging process, ensuring products are properly packed for safe transportation.
- Collaborate with the outbound team to meet quality and efficiency standards.
- Assist in quality control measures for outbound products under the guidance of the Outbound Supervisor.
- Report any discrepancies or issues identified during the quality check process.
- Communicate with the Outbound Supervisor and team to ensure smooth coordination of outbound activities.
- Responsible for accurate and timely data entry related to outbound processes.
- Maintain records of outbound shipments, including tracking information and order details.
- Support the Outbound Supervisor in managing resources, including labour and materials, to meet outbound goals.
- Assist in ensuring appropriate staffing levels to handle outbound demands.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines established by the Outbound Supervisor.
- Report any safety concerns promptly to maintain a secure working environment.
- Identify and report any issues or challenges encountered during outbound processes to the Outbound Supervisor.
- Collaborate with the team to find solutions and improvements.
- Seek guidance from the Outbound Supervisor to improve performance and understanding of outbound processes.
- Assist in the preparation of regular reports on outbound performance as directed by the Outbound Supervisor.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
High School or Diploma required.
Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English
0-2 years’ experience in similar or related field
