To grow and be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

 

  • Strong knowledge of core non‑financial risk concepts, including risk assessment, control design and operating effectiveness, change risk assessment, event and issue management.
  • Experience leading change risk assessment, event and issue management, including investigations and root cause analysis
  • An understanding of regulatory obligations, licensing requirements and regulatory change management
  • Well‑developed analytical skills, with the ability to identify risk themes, trends and emerging issues
  • The ability to synthesise complex risk information into clear, decision‑ready insights
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, operating as a trusted first line risk partner
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills, including preparing materials for governance and decision-making
  • Strong planning and coordination skills to manage high volume demand in a changing environment
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement with experience coaching others, driving capability uplift and leading a strong risk culture
