Maintenance Assistant
At Corvallis Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, we believe every team member plays an important role in creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming home for our residents. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Assistant who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive team that truly makes a difference every day.

What You’ll Do
- Assist with the daily maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the building, equipment, grounds, and resident areas.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
- Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
- Assist with floor care, painting, basic repairs, and general facility projects.
- Coordinate with vendors and outside contractors as needed.
- Respond to maintenance needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, infection control standards, and building regulations.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and quality improvement efforts.
- Support the Maintenance Director with department operations and additional projects as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- One or more years of maintenance or facilities experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Dependable, professional, and responsive
- Healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus, but not required
