M-F 8:00am-4:30pm

Pay Range:

$18.85 - $28.30

Essential Functions

  • Determines which patient assistance program need to be accessed when clients submit prescriptions for the pharmacy to process.
  • Generates paperwork according to the prescription assistance program procedures.
  • Processes the completed prescription application and the original prescription and ensures the volunteer licensed practitioner signs.
  • Mails paperwork to the appropriate drug company.
  • Receives packing slips or shipping invoices from the drug companies and files for future orders.
  • Determines if client is currently active and taking the same medication and dosage by checking the pharmacy software system.
  • Reorders medication by phone by inputting the client's social security number and birth date.
  • Communicates with leaders and team members to let them know of any problems that occur.
  • Communicates with clients and drug companies regarding the status of medications.

Physical Requirements
Requires lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, stooping, walking and frequent changes in position with extended periods of sitting.



Education, Experience and Certifications

High School Diploma or GED required. Computer skills in Microsoft Office and Windows-based programs required.
