$18.85 - $28.30Essential Functions
- Determines which patient assistance program need to be accessed when clients submit prescriptions for the pharmacy to process.
- Generates paperwork according to the prescription assistance program procedures.
- Processes the completed prescription application and the original prescription and ensures the volunteer licensed practitioner signs.
- Mails paperwork to the appropriate drug company.
- Receives packing slips or shipping invoices from the drug companies and files for future orders.
- Determines if client is currently active and taking the same medication and dosage by checking the pharmacy software system.
- Reorders medication by phone by inputting the client's social security number and birth date.
- Communicates with leaders and team members to let them know of any problems that occur.
- Communicates with clients and drug companies regarding the status of medications.
Requires lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, stooping, walking and frequent changes in position with extended periods of sitting.
