Maple Ridge Grocer/Bishop Quigley is located in the heart of Maple Ridge! The best of two worlds, featuring an all-day bistro that offers delicious food, cocktails, wine, and an assortment of grab-and-go options along with a friendly neighborhood pub, Bishop Quigley.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty coffees.
- Provide recommendations to guests.
- Maintain a clean, organized area, including stocking supplies and ensuring the coffee bar is always prepared for service.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payments, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, positive manner to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure all local and state alcohol laws and regulations are followed.
Requirements:
- Previous barista experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee and other beverages.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- A positive, energetic attitude and a passion for the hospitality industry.
- Must have an ABLE license, alcohol safety training, and THD food handler permit.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- This is a part-time role.
