Job Description


 

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple initiatives including a modernization project, legacy system migrations, and technology upgrades. This position will be Full-Time and Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote, with flexibility for the right candidate).

Only candidates not requiring sponsorship for employment visa status will be considered for this position. Candidates who are a reasonable commuting distance to Trenton, NJ please.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the Project Manager for multiple initiatives, including OSCF modernization, legacy system migrations, and courtroom technology upgrades

  • Coordinate project requirements, scope, schedule, deliverables, testing activities, and stakeholder communications

  • Manage project timelines, resource allocation, issue resolution, risk tracking, and task completion

  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external project team members, including vendors, technical staff, and business stakeholders

  • Oversee coordination across multiple technical teams, business units, State agencies, and external vendors to ensure project objectives, milestones, and deliverables remain on track

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of IT project management experience

  • 7 years demonstrated experience managing complex application development, infrastructure, migration, or system modernization projects with budgets exceeding $1 million

  • 7 years proven track record coordinating projects across multiple organizations, agencies, divisions, or vendor relationships

  • 7 years experience managing projects involving software development, system migrations, testing, implementation, and business process modernization

  • 7 years experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities

  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration software (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, GitHub Projects, or similar tools)

  • 7 years knowledge of software development lifecycles, including Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative methodologies

  • 7 years understanding of application development, infrastructure upgrades, system integration, testing coordination, and implementation activities

  • 7 years experience with change management processes, issue tracking, and project documentation management

  • 7 years familiarity with budget tracking and project reporting processes

  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities

  • Proven ability to manage project scope, schedule, deliverables, risks, and quality simultaneously

  • Experience with risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution

  • Strong meeting facilitation, coordination, and team leadership skills

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical and business teams

  • Ability to drive accountability and maintain project momentum across multiple stakeholders

  • Ability to work effectively within a matrix organization structure

  • Strong attention to detail and documentation management skills

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing project needs

  • Experience facilitating status meetings, working sessions, and lessons-learned discussions

Preferred:

  • Government or public sector project experience.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.

  • Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person.

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings.

$65.00 - $68.00 per hour

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
