Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Growth:
- Call on and meet with prospective and existing customers to promote MRO products and solutions, including maintenance supplies, tools, safety equipment, and other industrial consumables.
- Identify customer needs and provide consultative solutions to support their maintenance and operational requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize account potential.
- Develop new contacts and opportunities within assigned accounts to gainshare of wallet through category expansion
Territory Planning & Lead Generation:
- Prospect within assigned region to generate and qualify new leads.
- Utilize various channels such as networking, industry events, and referrals to expand reach.
- Plan and execute territory coverage efficiently to optimize sales opportunities.
Market & Competitor Analysis:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and product innovations.
- Provide feedback to management on market conditions and customer preferences.
