Engineering Change

  • Review ECN (engineering change notices) for accuracy and completeness of information (plants affected/releases/changes/obsolescence) for a specific program or change using Copeland system (Oracle, ETQ, TC EBS) and/or plant verification.

  • Verify the requested changes are updated in the engineering drawing of the particular product.

  • Ensure the Copeland system is updated on the tool (Oracle, TeamCenter) by design engineers with changes as mentioned in change notice.

  • Process ECN in Copeland system (TeamCenter) to ensure changes being communicated will be properly reviewed and approved by concern plants and people

  • Seek approval from concerned platform approvers for requested changes.

  • Issue Engineering change notice to all plants for implementation for requested changes/new product.

  • Complete ECN tracking sheet with ECN information for program/ change tracking.

Inventory Management

  • Prepare draft of operations bulletin with information of part/ model (remove-add/released-obsolete/released-replaced) from Final ECN.

  • Gather inventory information from plants and suppliers from various sources for inventory management of implemented product changes oracle.

  • Analyzes gathered information & data using descriptive analytics (inventory to demand) to determine target implementation date of the product changes.

  • Issue operation bulletin to communicate the implementation date of the product change to all concerned plants.

  • Monitor and follow-up implementation of changes in product in all plants.

  • Close operation bulletin post all changes are implemented.

Reports & Adhocs

  • Data gathering

  • Extracts/generates structured information from either single or multiple tools using standardized extraction methods that requires simple querying or preconditioned logic. Tools such as but not limited to Sigma, Power BI, etc

  • Cleans data using a basic cleansing methods like filling in values, erasing unnecessary values or formatting to ensure consistency for the next step of the analysis.

  • Data manipulation

  • Formats extracted data based on expected report output (simple formatting).

  • Combines extracted data from multiple resources using automated tools (excel, macro, OTHER database TOOLS).

  • Apply basic calculation to summarize the gathered data into information for further analysis.

  • Data Analysis

  • Analyze and interpret data using descriptive analytics (basic mathematics, comparative analysis) and identify opportunities for improvements.

  • Creates charts, trends as necessary to aid in easy interpretation and better understanding of analyzed data.

  • Data report & reporting

  • Generate or create reports based on standard template and submit to requestor.

  • Builds new reports and templates on top of existing business systems (Sigma, Vendavo, etc.) and makes them available to all users".

  • Present the analysed data to stakeholders to provide updates, summaries and feedback

  • Validate the analysed data for accuracy and compliance to requirements.

  • Monitor the implementation of action items and follow-up for closure. (LCT2)

Qualifications

  • Preferably with a bachelor's degree in Engineering / Industrial Engineering

  • With at least 2 years of experience in handling/processing engineering drawing or BOM works

Work Conditions

  • This role will have a mid shift schedule

  • We have a hybrid work arrangement and we work on-site for thrice a week
