Monitor driver qualifications, including HazMat endorsement status, to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Support compliance with Hazardous Materials Regulations (49 CFR Parts 171–180) and assist in maintaining alignment with FMCSA and PHMSA requirements.
Track and maintain hazardous materials registrations, permits, and compliance-related documentation.
Monitor regulatory updates and communicate relevant changes to the Manager, HazMat Compliance and other stakeholders.
Maintain and track hazardous materials training records for drivers and employees, ensuring compliance with required training and renewal timelines.
Support the administration of hazardous materials training programs and assist with driver safety meetings related to hazardous materials transport.
Assist in the investigation of hazardous materials incidents, including spills, releases, or regulatory violations, and support required reporting activities.
Maintain accurate and organized compliance records and prepare documentation for internal reviews, audits, and external regulatory inspections.
Track corrective actions resulting from audits or inspections and support follow-up activities to ensure resolution.
Collaborate with Safety, Operations, and Driver teams to promote compliance awareness and support safe transportation practices.
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned to support hazardous materials compliance and operational needs.
