Job Description

  • Receive, review, and validate shipping documents to ensure complete and accurate information, guaranteeing operational excellence.
  • Prepare customs clearance documentation based on supplier-provided information and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and control transportation processes from origin to final destination to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Share daily planning of trailers, containers, and vans to be delivered to Yazaki entities with Plant and Warehouse teams.
  • Follow up on material damage or loss claims and ensure proper resolution.
  • Implement Lean activities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize transportation processes.
  • Propose ECIP initiatives and actively contribute to their implementation.
  • Activate contingency plans when necessary to avoid unnecessary premiums and secure supply continuity.
  • Alert all stakeholders about potential risks detected (e.g. severe weather conditions, strikes, national holidays, Easter holidays).
  • Ensure the preparation and accuracy of monthly transportation performance reports.
  • Ensure the preparation and follow-up of monthly transportation premium cost reports.
  • Collect and analyze inbound trailer density data and initiate action plans to improve truck utilization.
  • Prepare End-of-Month (EOM) closure activities for import flows.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure logistics objectives are achieved.
