The Opportunity:
Adobe is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Global Sales Compensation Design team. This role plays a critical part in shaping compensation plan design, analytics, incentive policy, and plan launch enablement.
As a member of the Global Sales Compensation Design team, you will ensure compensation programs align with strategic business objectives, comply with legal requirements, and remain competitive in the market. With incentive policy, the focus will be on providing clear application guidance, ensuring consistent policy adherence, and maintaining legal compliance. Through compensation enablement, you will deliver employee training and partner closely with business leaders to drive understanding, adoption, and optimal plan effectiveness.
What You’ll Do:
- Compensation Plan Design
- Design and refine sales compensation plans aligned to company strategy and business objectives
- Ensure plans are competitive, scalable, and compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Translate business priorities into clear, measurable performance metrics and payout structures
- Incentive Policy Governance
- Interpret and apply incentive compensation policies consistently across the organization
- Provide guidance on policy application, exceptions, and edge cases
- Ensure adherence to established governance frameworks and legal standards
- Identify policy gaps and recommend updates or clarifications
- Enablement & Stakeholder Partnership
- Deliver plan training materials and enablement sessions for sales teams and leaders
- Communicate plan details, changes, and policy updates clearly and effectively
- Partner with business leaders to monitor plan effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
- Support change management efforts related to compensation programs
- Analyze & Present Insights
- Work with large, complex data sets to identify trends and performance drivers
- Draw meaningful conclusions and synthesize findings into clear, concise summaries
- Prepare executive-level presentations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively
What We’re Looking For:
- 5-7+ years of experience in compensation design, sales compensation, sales operations, finance, and/or a related analytical business role
- Ability to build, pressure-test, and model compensation scenarios to assess business impact, risk, and pay outcomes
- Comfort working with large data sets and translating complex analysis into clear, actionable insights
- Experience identifying process inefficiencies and drive automation and scalable solutions
- High attention to detail
- Familiarity influencing cross-functional stakeholders through data-backed recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to distill complex compensation concepts for executives and sales teams

Expected Pay Range:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $106,100 -- $220,650 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.In California, the pay range for this position is $152,400 - $220,650
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
