Job Description
Develops short and long-term strategy to support customer requirements Planning and coordination: organizing the shipment of goods from origin to destination, considering factors like transit times, cost, and legal requirements. Documentation: Handling shipping documents, customs paperwork and ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complete. Transportation management system - support system implementation and roll out. Actively search and implementation of new carrier/lanes in cooperation to reduce cost and improve quality and delivery. Problem-solving: Addressing and resolving any issues related to shipping delays, damaged goods, or other logistical problems. Claim management. Tracking and monitoring: monitoring shipments in transit, updating on status, and resolving any issues that arise.
