Position Summary

Teleflex is in search of a Human Resources Generalist, Latin America who will use Leadership, HR, and Business Acumen to support all facets of HR for their areas of responsibility. This may include developing, implementing, and coordinating policies, employee relations, restructuring programs, performance management, compensation management, workforce planning, talent acquisition, orientation, benefits, employee and organizational development, engagement and training. 
They must be data-driven, planned, organized, and biased toward continuous improvement, both individually and organizationally. All HR positions are expected to partner with their client teams to represent the Latin America and HR function, our policies, and our Core Values. They may also be asked to provide HR expertise and guidance across geographical boundaries as needed. 
This position is based at our Mexico City office. The selected candidate is expected to work on-site 5 days per week.

Principal Responsibilities

• Serve as an HR contact and consultant to leaders, managers, and employees across the Latin America region. Provide insight and data-driven recommendations to influence organizational decisions and improve organizational capability. 
• Lead employee relations investigations and provide recommendations that balance risk management with professional employee experience. Escalate complex employee relations concerns as needed. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and practices.
• Partner with leadership on succession planning (KTD), career pathing, competency modeling, and performance management strategies, as well as the related processes of promotional planning and the execution of the merit process (TCM). Support leadership development initiatives to strengthen the talent pipeline and foster a high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to recruit strong talent in the Latin America market. Partner with compensation guidance to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness, in accordance with laws governing employee wages
• Partner with members of the Leadership and HR teams to create and maintain regional culture initiatives that promote inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Analyze Employee Experience Survey results and partner with leaders to drive measurable improvements in engagement and retention.
• Maintain and audit employee data integrity in HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy in reporting, organization charts, and workforce analytics. Provide HR metrics and insights to support strategic decisions.
• Oversee leave cases in collaboration with LOA Coordinators and external vendors. Advise leaders and employees on the interpretation and application of policies.
• Lead or contribute to HR and cross-functional projects focused on organizational change, policy updates, and process optimization. Represent the HR function in divisional initiatives and corporate programs.
• Provide coaching to leaders and people managers regarding personnel, leadership, performance management, compensation, and development activities.
• Build strong relationships with HR Centers of Excellence to include Global Compensation, HR Operations, Benefits, and Payroll to provide top level support to employees.

Education / Experience Requirements

• 5+ years of working experience in Human Resources or a related field, including demonstrated knowledge of varied aspects of Human Resources and relevant employment regulations.
• Must be bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Proven ability to partner effectively with leaders to drive business outcomes through people strategies.
• Experience working with HRIS and data analytics tools to inform decision-making.
• BS Degree in HR, Business, Psychology required, master’s degree preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HRIS, and talent management systems.
