Student Nutrition - Cashier - 5 Hours

Student Nutrition Cashier

2026-2027 School Year

Shift Hours: 5 hours per day, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Position Function (include but are not limited to the following): To make a positive contribution to the efficient and effective operation of the Student Nutrition Department by accurately maintaining student meal accounts and bank deposit records while contributing to daily operations of kitchen tasks and duties. Reports to the Student Nutrition Kitchen Manager.

Working Conditions: Able to work harmoniously with others. Willingness to learn and work with a computer. Requires standing for long periods of time. Must pass standardized strength & agility testing requiring lifting up to 50 pounds. Completion of Food Basics Safety Class within 2 months of hire. Maintains high standards of sanitation and personal cleanliness. Have reliable references and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Starting Salary: $16.10/hour - commensurate with experience

Requirements:
- All employees must have a current TB test (Tuberculosis). If you've had a recent TB Test (less than 12 months ago) we can accept a copy of your test results. If it's been more than 1 year ago, you will be required to obtain a new test. Employees are responsible for the cost of the test.
- Must pass standardized strength & agility testing requiring lifting up to 50 pounds and a pre-employment physical.
-Must submit pre-employment physical prior to first day of work.
