Introduction

As SAP VIM Technical Process Owner, you will join our Global Finance Services and Controlling Applications Team, based in Madrid and reporting into Basel, Switzerland. In this role, you will help shape and optimize global Invoice-to-Cash (I2C) processes and finance solutions that support Straumann Group’s international operations.

You’ll work in a collaborative and agile environment where innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing are encouraged. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to key transformation initiatives, including the transition to SAP S/4HANA, while partnering with colleagues across finance, procurement, treasury, and IT functions worldwide.

Your Role

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Invoice-to-Cash solutions, with a focus on OpenText VIM and SAP integration
• Support the standardization and continuous improvement of finance processes across the global SAP landscape
• Facilitate technical workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective solutions
• Create and maintain solution documentation, including process flows, technical specifications, and integration designs
• Manage end-to-end OpenText VIM implementation activities across international subsidiaries
• Support the implementation of automated invoice processing and workflow solutions
• Coordinate integrations with global payment systems while supporting compliance with applicable standards and regulations
• Contribute to the transition to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring alignment and continuity across finance processes
• Collaborate with external consulting and support partners to ensure successful solution delivery
• Partner closely with finance, treasury, procurement, and IT teams across the organization
• Promote SAP and OpenText VIM best practices through collaboration and knowledge sharing

Your Profile

Must-have qualifications

• Experience working with SAP Invoice-to-Cash (I2C) solutions, including hands-on exposure to OpenText VIM
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI and MM modules and related finance processes
• Experience supporting or participating in SAP implementation or transformation projects
• Understanding of invoice automation workflows and financial process integration
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders across international teams
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken

Nice-to-have qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration projects
• Familiarity with treasury management systems such as Coupa Treasury
• Knowledge of SAP payment configuration and bank integrations
• Experience working in global or multi-country system environments
• Additional language skills
