Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Food Handlers Card
Currently employed by Clay County Schools as a regular employee or substitute.


Pending Employment
Criminal Background Check
Drug Test
Successful Score on Employment Test for Cook Classification


Job Description
The camp cook will:

  1. Sunday - Prepare Lunch and Dinner
  2. Monday through Thursday - Prepare Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
  3. Work with summer staff and local food distributors to order food for daily meals, while staying within the established budget
  4. Work with one or more other cooks to prepare the meals mentioned above
  5. Coordinate and direct volunteers in clean-up procedures

 
Terms of Employment
Sunday, June 14, 2026 to Thursday, June 18, 2026

Sunday Meals
Lunch 12:00 noon
Dinner 5:00 p.m.

Monday - Thursday Meals
Breakfast 8:00 a.m.
Lunch 12:00 noon
Dinner 5:00 p.m.
 
Compensation
$900 Stipend Per Cook
