Summer Programs / Extended Year Position - Elementary Teacher

LOCATION: Green Bank Elementary-Middle School


CERTIFICATION: Applicant should possess WV certification in the areas of special education / multi-categorical with autism. In addition to appropriate certification and/or licensure, criteria to be used is contained in 18A-4-7a of WV Code. *Preference for currently employed PCS special education certified teachers.

ASSIGNMENT:  * Position and schedule contingent upon student attendance/ participation / need* 

To work with eligible school-age student(s) in an extended year program. The goal of the program is to implement transition and academic instruction and instruction with self-help skills as stated in the IEP for individual student(s) as directed by the Director of Special Education.

SALARY:

Hourly rate of pay is $25.00 an hour not to exceed 35 hours a week.

The position will be for 4 days a week M-Th, July 6, 2026, through July 31, 2026.

Additional planning time shall be provided as needed and approved by the Director of Special Education.

Holidays are not instructional or compensated days.

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: June 29, 2026 - July 31, 2026
