Senior Boiler Technician - CUCF

If so, the Utah Department of Corrections is looking for a Senior Boiler Technician to work in their Salt Lake City, Utah, Correctional Facility. The Senior Boiler Technician will perform the following: Provide training and supervision of inmates in Boiler Operations at a prison facility. Ensure inmates are helped to become team-oriented with the goal to enable them to succeed outside of the prison environment. Enforce security regulations and perform inmate supervision. Successful candidates will possess: Experience with Industrial Boilers: Operating and maintaining high-pressure steam and hot water boilers, combustion systems, and high-pressure vessels. System Maintenance: Expertise in installing and maintaining steam, condensate, and hydronic heating piping, as well as steam traps and pressure regulators. Mechanical Proficiency: Skilled in inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing boiler systems, including pump and motor maintenance. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with ASME Boiler Pressure Vessel Codes and Local/State Boiler Codes. Position may be filled as an Boiler Technician (Starting salary $25.00 - $43.00) or a Associate Boiler Technician (Starting salary $20.00 - 34.00), upon the review of the qualifications of the applicant.
