JJYS Youth Development Associate/Specialist - Farmington Bay Youth Center

Roles and Responsibilities : Develop and maintain working relationships with schools and community programs Meet with referred youth to provide mentoring Provide evidence-based lessons and skill building to youth either in a group setting, or individually Document interactions and programming with youth in a timely manner Complete all necessary assessments May need to respond to crisis situations after office hours Plan, develop, and implement summer programming Good time management and communication Transport youth Speak clearly, concisely and effectively; listen to, and understand, information and ideas as presented verbally
