AmeriCorps Seniors Foster Grandparent Program Coordinator

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the AmeriCorps Seniors Foster Grandparent program in Salt Lake County. Understand program policies and AmeriCorps Seniors administrative requirements to ensure compliance. Coordinate selecting, enrolling, orienting, training, recognizing and placing volunteers with community partners. Supervise all volunteers to efficiently develop and carry out activities of the program. Provide ongoing training and support to volunteers including training on the science of reading. Oversee development, training and coordination of partnerships and program activities with local community partners. Develop and maintain close coordinated relationships with volunteer stations, including development of volunteer assignment plans. Assess appropriateness and performance of volunteer stations. Maintain appropriate program and volunteer records and reports in accordance with federal guidelines. Track agreed upon performance measures and coordinate reporting of statistics and outcomes for the program. Market and communicate the AmeriCorps Seniors Program and services to the public. Perform other work duties and responsibilities as required.
