Job Description
We
are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to strengthen the Cronos Europa team.
This is a part-time position.
The role of the Senior Project Manager will be situated within a European financial institution characterized by a highly regulated and international context. The project environment demands agility and adherence to compliance standards, necessitating close collaboration with various stakeholders across geographical boundaries. The team setup relevant to this role will comprise cross-functional members, including Value Chain Committee (VCC) members, Business Leads, and Digital Transformational Officers (DTOs), ensuring a cohesive approach to strategic transformation initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Report on the visions of the Value Chain, encompassing business vision, digital storylines, and overall digital roadmap, ensuring alignment with the institution's strategic transformation objectives.
- Proactively monitor risks and issues, ensuring they are identified early and effectively mitigated.
- Organize and prepare for VCC meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and post-meeting activities.
- Coordinate with VCC members to ensure documentation and supporting materials are accurately prepared and approved.
- Maintain and update actions and decisions logs from meetings, ensuring all relevant outputs are accessible on appropriate platforms (e.g., MS Teams, VC Smartsite).
- Facilitate the review and update process of the VCC Terms of Reference.
- Coordinate capacity and budget requests as part of budget management processes, assisting in budget preparation and planning together with budget officers and DTO PMOs.
- Support VC directorates in resource planning exercises while aiding Budget Officers in monitoring and reporting on VC budget utilization.
- Maintain and update the VC Projects Catalogue and VC Roadmap, following up on initiatives’ progress and preparing managerial information for Value Chain stakeholders.
- Perform quality controls on the demand management pipeline and provide requirements for enhancements of the Demand Management Tool.
- Manage reporting, compiling insights to present an overarching perspective of the Value Chain’s status, while publishing relevant VC information on appropriate communication channels.
- Support the organization and facilitation of workshops, including the production of materials and follow-up on action points, collaborating with DTO facilitators as necessary.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the role.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- A university degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Computer Science (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in project management, portfolio reporting and KPI tracking with a solid understanding of reporting to middle management.
- Strong knowledge of project governance frameworks and methodologies for example: PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models within complex organizational environments.
- Familiarity with budget management processes and capacity planning.
- Experience in business analysis activities preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience working in regulated and international environments, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, manage dependencies, and support strategic transformation initiatives.
- Distinctive blend of business, IT, financial & communication skills.
LANGUAGES
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Additional languages are appreciated but not required, depending on stakeholder engagement needs.
