Compensation: $17.89 / hour
Description
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:30am-6:00pm.
As a Customer Relations Specialist at our Behavioral Health Crisis Center, you’ll provide compassionate, person-centered support to clients and families as they seek behavioral health services. You’ll ensure a smooth check-in process, accurate information, and timely connection to the right clinician—all while helping create a calm, welcoming environment for those in need.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive and supportive first impression.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes, verify demographics, complete paperwork, and enter information accurately into electronic health records and related systems.
- Answer phones courteously, direct calls and messages appropriately, and schedule services based on clinical recommendations.
- Monitor waiting areas to support safety, comfort, and timeliness of appointments.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary crisis center staff to ensure coordinated client care.
- Verify insurance and other data in EMOMed and CIMOR systems and update internal tracking sheets daily.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as mail distribution, data reporting, supply orders, and maintaining lobby cleanliness.
- Serve as facilities captain, coordinating drills and safety checks as assigned.
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High School/GED preferred
- At least one year experience in customer service required
- A valid driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required
