About the Role
Join ALM’s Professional Education team as an Account Executive, supporting the growth of online education and certification solutions for legal professionals and organizations.
This role is designed as a hybrid sales position, combining pipeline development, inbound lead conversion, and direct sales of smaller and mid-sized opportunities. You will play a key role in supporting overall revenue growth while building foundational sales experience in a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of ALM’s value proposition and clearly articulate how our solutions address client needs
• Manage and convert inbound leads and marketing-generated opportunities
• Drive sales of individual and small-to-mid team solutions
• Support pipeline development through outbound prospecting, follow-up, and consistent outreach activity
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for prospective clients
• Partner with enterprise sales lead to support larger opportunities and account growth
• Track and manage opportunities throughout the sales process to ensure timely progression and close
• Maintain a strong understanding of client workflows, challenges, and opportunities to deliver relevant solutions
• Provide feedback on customer needs, messaging, and market trends to support continuous improvement
• Represent the business in client meetings and as needed, industry events (some travel required)

What Success Looks Like

• Consistent contribution to revenue through individual and small-to-mid team deals 
• Strong activity levels that drive pipeline growth and opportunity creation 
• Effective conversion of inbound leads into closed business 
• Meaningful support of broader team goals, including enterprise pipeline development 




Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 2–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Comfortable with outbound outreach and maintaining high activity levels
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
• Highly motivated, coachable, and eager to grow within a sales career
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-starter with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in B2B, SaaS, or professional services environments 
• Interest in legal, education, or technology-driven solutions 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
