High School Special Education Teacher — Special Education
Job Description
Join us in the important work of forming disciples of Jesus Christ through community, faith, knowledge, and service. Peoria Notre Dame High School has an opening for a special education teacher (LBS I) for the 2026-27 school year and beyond to serve our motivated and passionate students, teach them in a Catholic environment of academic inquiry, and support them with their unique exceptionalities and abilities.
At PND, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside faculty and staff members committed to bettering themselves as teachers and Christians. We know we can't share what we don't have, and therefore we offer ample opportunities for our faculty and staff to strengthen their spiritual lives through daily Mass, daily adoration and confession, biweekly faith formation meetings, an annual faculty retreat, and All School Mass. In addition to spiritual development, we offer engaging and collaborative professional learning once each month: new teacher meetings, professional development sessions and department meetings.
Many of the benefits of working at PND are visiblecompetitive salary, health and dental benefits, a 403b match program, and tuition discounts for your children at our partner schools and at PND. Many benefits are not as visibleyoung people who are respectful and engaged, small teacher-to-student class sizes, and the opportunity to be part of a Catholic community with a rich history and a united mission.
