Full Time - Study Hall Supervisor
Job Description
Central Catholic High School is seeking a faithful, passionate, selfless, and resilient Study Hall Supervisor for the 2026-2027 school year. Applicants must be enthusiastic about the mission of Central Catholic High School. He or she should be a disciplined and organized individual capable of managing our study hall environment. The primary goal is to provide a structured, supportive space where students can focus on individual tasks and personal work. The preferred candidate will be responsible for accountability duties - such as weekly attendance, behavior, and grade monitoring - with proactive behavior management. The preferred candidate has an enthusiasm for working with youth and the desire to work in a Christian environment.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain an orderly and productive environment. Actively monitor student behavior to ensure compliance with school policies and minimize distractions.
- Perform accurate daily attendance checks and verify student locations via digital tracking systems.
- Conduct regular assignments and grade checks regarding student progress. Based on administrative criteria, ensure identified students are utilizing study hall time for schoolwork.
- Issue verbal warnings or formal referrals when necessary. Address disciplinary issues immediately to maintain a safe and conducive atmosphere.
- Utilize school-specific software to log attendance, check student progress, and document behavioral incidents.
- Act as a communication bridge between the study hall, the classroom, Student Support team, and administration regarding student behavior or academic updates.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma; some college credit.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate firmly yet fairly with teenagers.
- Proficiency with basic office technology and educational software.
- Knowledge of the basic teachings of the Catholic Church.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Paraprofessional or substitute certification with the Regional Office of Education.
