Job Description
We are seeking a delivery-focused Technical Project Manager to lead critical initiatives across the Corporate & Assisted Channels portfolio. This role is accountable for end-to-end execution of complex technology programs that directly impact customer experience, revenue assurance, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
The successful candidate will drive initiatives from initiation through to production deployment, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
Strategic Delivery Leadership
- Lead multiple concurrent technical initiatives across Corporate & Assisted Channels (Contact Centre, Case Management, Sales Platforms, Workforce Tools).
- Own full project lifecycle: business case validation, planning, execution, governance, and closure.
- Align delivery outcomes with broader transformation and operational objectives.
Execution Excellence
- Develop detailed delivery plans including scope, schedule, cost, and resource forecasting.
- Manage RAID logs proactively (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
- Ensure projects are delivered within approved budget and financial guardrails.
- Drive structured sprint or waterfall execution depending on initiative type.
Technical & Vendor Management
- Work closely with solution architects, engineering teams, and multiple vendor partners.
- Translate business requirements into actionable technical delivery plans.
- Manage offshore and onshore delivery teams, ensuring accountability and quality output.
Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Engage senior stakeholders across business, IT, and operations.
- Provide clear, data-driven reporting on milestones, financials, and risk posture.
- Present delivery updates at portfolio governance forums.
- Escalate strategically with mitigation pathways — not just issues.
Quality & Risk Assurance
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and architectural standards.
- Oversee testing strategy (SIT, UAT, regression, production readiness).
- Support smooth production releases with minimal business disruption.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT Project Management within large enterprise environments.
- Proven track record delivering complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.
- Experience in Telco, Digital Channels, Contact Centre, or Assisted Sales platforms preferred.
- Strong financial management capability (budget tracking, forecasting, benefits realisation).
- Experience managing vendor and multi-location delivery models (onshore/offshore).
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills at senior leadership level.
- Ability to operate in high-pressure, critical program environments.
- PMP / Prince2 / Agile certifications
- Experience working within telco transformation programs
