Dosimetrist - Radiation Oncology

Job Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Medical Director and the department Radiation Oncologists works as a member of the Radiation Oncology team.  Under the guidance of a Medical Physicist accurately plans and calculates external beam treatments of patient. The Medical Dosimetrist is responsible for his/her own professional development and practices within the scope of care defined by law. Utilizing organizational resources the Medical Dosimetrist acts as a patient advocate for safe care, including participation in performance improvement activities.
