Your Impact at Empire
The Superintendent oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of residential construction projects. They are responsible for managing budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety standards, and overseeing the worksite. They collaborate with trade partners, vendors, homeowners, and the community sales team to ensure that each home meets the company’s quality standards.
This role is located on site in a community within the Houston, TX division.
What We Are Looking For:
High school diploma; bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred
Minimum of 2 years of residential construction and customer service experience
Strong customer services skills, problem solving and organizational time management skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication; demonstrated ability to collaborate and manage relationships

What You’ll Be Doing Each Day
Manage construction of multiple homes from site preparation to closing while ensuring quality control and adherence to schedules.
Communicate with vendors, trade partners, and subcontractors to confirm schedules, validate work, and resolve issues.
Maintain a safe and organized work site, enforcing safety policies and adhering to OSHA regulations.
Oversee project compliance with plans, specifications, industry standards, and codes, and manage material orders and inspections.
Foster positive relationships with homeowners, team members, and trade partners, handling customer service and warranty requests.
Prepare and manage punch lists, warranty work orders, and ensure tasks are completed to satisfaction.
